Dog Day Care - Small Personilized Day Care, Independently owned
If your dog is home alone, restless, lonely, or just plain bored, quality daycare is a wonderful solution. Club K9 of Wickliffe is a safe,clean and fun club for your dog to get that extra affection and stimulation they need to feel happy and rejuvenated. We have an itinerary of activities that we do with the dogs, they have plenty of play time but we offer a solid routine which will control the dogs. Less barking, less stress, more fun. We want a social consistency. This is for the benefit of your dog. During the day your dog can play on the equipment and run with their new friends, then its nap time, relaxing classical piano arrangements. Music to calm your dog. Afternoon is Happy hour with low fat treats and bottled water. And catch the bubbles on the bacon and cheese flavored bubble machine.In the summer a dip in the dog bone pool. And new to the Club is the water jump! They love this. Its like a small water park. After an afternoon at the pool then its time to wind down to go home.You will love how tired and happy your dog will be! Ask our satisfied customers! What a great day at Club K9! Dog Group Classes (Best suited for the client who has the time and desire to actively work with their dog)
Start with a good foundation. This class teaches all the basics. The training is based on the needs and personality of the dog. We teach you proper leash handling skills, body language and voice control. The basic commands are Heel, automatic sit, down, come, wait, leave it and a release word. This class is fun and informative. Class size is limited to 8 dogs. This is a 5 week course. $145.00 Starts September 8 2010 6:30pm Wednesday
Therapy Dog Class : Would you like your dog to be a therapy dog? This 4 week class will get you and your dog ready to be tested. Test on the 5th week. Class will cover,Volunteering,Guidelines, Signs of Stress, Therapy dog Visitations, a day of training at a local Nursing Home. Club K9 sponsors Therapy dog classes that help you and your dog prepare for the TDI Therapy Dog International Evaluation and acquaint you with different aspects of animal assisted activitys, commonly known as Pet Therapy. Precise obedience skills are not required however the handler must have control while visiting, including a reliable sit, down, and stay. Classes will start in September 2010
Dog Aggression class: This is for the dog that doesnt get along with other dogs, special class held once a month on sundays from11am-12pm. Please call to come in,invitation only. This is NOT an obedience class.Fee $10.00 next class Sept.29 2010
Leadership Program: For the owner whos dog rules the house and exhibits problem behavior. Leaders make the rules is that you or your dog? Call for consultation .
Day Board and Training: We train your dog for you.
5 day Basic or
10 day Intermediate * Not all dogs benifit from a group class,or private lessons this is why we offer Day Board and Train* Best suited for the client that have less time.
The benifit of this program is you will see faster training results,work is done during the day,one on one with a certified professional trainer. This program is designed to establish dog/owner communication and give you on or off leash control. During this program you drop off your dog everyday Monday thru Friday. It’s like dropping your kids off for school. During this time a certified trainer will teach your dog several leash commands. Depending on which program you need, each one has follow up lessons. You will see a demonstration of what your dog has learned. A consultation is needed to know what your goals are. Your follow up lessons must be completed within 14 to 30 days after the final date of training,depending on the program you select.This has been one of our most popular programs. Call for a Consultation Fee is $25.00 . Fee is deducted if you sign up for our training.
Sunday Socials
Come to our Sunday tea. Your dog can come and play at the daycare for one hour. Puppy socials, small dog socials and large dog socials are a great way to get out of the house with your dog for a fun afternoon. *Available only from Febuary- March. Please call ahead for dates available.Must pay in advance.
Dog Tub Club
Dog wash, you can wash your dog here too! Beautiful tub easy to get into. Leave us the mess, we provide everything just bring in your dirty dog,we use the best shampoo,conditioner,detangler. Call for our times available and for our special "Tub Club" membership pricing. Dog wash $20.00 or we can wash your dog $25.00 Nail trims $10.00. Please ask about our special! Remote E collar Basic
Remote E- Collar: We call it the invisible leash.Learn how to use the remote collar the humane way. Taught the right way with the right collar, this type of training is less physical and easier. Did you know that you can motivate a dog with the electric collar? It is not used only for correction, or punishment. Used on low settings and learning the proper levels, you can do a lot with this collar. We include the collar with the training; we use the best tools for you and your dog.
